Flexus Coils by Aspire, also known as AF Coils, are replaceable coils for the Aspire Flexus Q Replacement Pods which feature in the Flexus Q Pod Kit. These coils are available in two resistances; 0.6 ohm mesh or 1.0 ohm mesh coils.
Each Aspire Flexus Coil offers a slightly different vaping experience.
- The 0.6 ohm coil:
- features a mesh coil build and organic cotton
- allows for faster heating of e-liquid, cleaner vapour flavour and slightly larger cloud production
- is good for a warmer mouth-to-lung (MTL) vape, where you hold vapour in your mouth before inhaling to the lungs
- is good for restricted direct-lung (DL) vape where you inhale vapour straight to your lungs, like breathing in through your mouthpiece.
- The standard 1.0 ohm coil:
- features a mesh coil build and organic cotton
- produces a slightly cooler vape with good vapour flavour and medium cloud production
- is perfect for MTL vaping.
Please note:
- Before installing new coils, make sure you first prime them by placing a few drops of e-liquid in the centre of the coil to saturate the cotton and avoid dry hits or burning. See our ‘how to prime new coils’ FAQ for more information.
